In less than three weeks, we head to Africa for a climb of Kilimanjaro followed by the reward, a Safari. Twenty years ago, and after dating Phil for six months, I secured my first passport and he took me on my first out of country climb to Kilimanjaro in Africa. I loved it. Because he made it so enjoyable and his clients were so fun to hang with, I got hooked on the sport of climbing. So, today, as most weekends, we hiked. If you prepare by doing what you are going to do, it makes the actual climb so much more enjoyable.
